TGWTG Reverse Big Bang 2014

2nd time at doing an RBB for tgwtgbigbang. I was suprised on how found the process much easier to do than last time even though last time I was more prepared and this year I finished it on the day of the deadline ^^;.


Description of drawing : The Nostalgia Critic's show is being filmed in a lit studio. Bargho and Michaud are the cameramen, The Other Guy is the visual and sound mixer.

Artist's commentary on the drawing : This stemmed for the idea I had during my television pratice classes at university and the want of doing an historical AU setting that would absolutely fit with tgwtg. For the drawing process of this art piece I used a HB and 2B pencils to draw the shadows and all the darker parts of the drawing. I used water-colour paints for the colouring process. The reason why Bargho and The Other Guy have longer hair is because I can't draw the back of heads to save my life I wanted to showcase the era of the early 1990s established in the drawing.

I like this a lot. The softer, sketchy feel adds to the idea of a cheap studio, but there's a lot of promise in Critic's posture.
